The Glorious Gift – HOPE

“I cried so hard…. You give me hope that everything will be alright.”

Hope. This is the glorious season when Hope came into the world. We’re reminded of it with every twinkling light… by the gracious love around our family table… with every treasured gift given and received.

On a night 2,000 years ago, Hope became alive as a precious gift for all of us.

Manon, a girl of 16, found that Hope in one shining moment. She has suffered through eating disorders, cutting, marijuana addiction and three divorces between her mom and dad. Yet when she watched just one simple online video, her world radically changed. “Your words did something with me,” she wrote.

Yes, the words did something, because The Word, the living Christ, spoke to her.

I want you to know this same hope in a new and vibrant way throughout the Christmas season. I’m offering a wonderful opportunity to fill your spirit with joy. It’s very simple. Would you take just a few minutes and do two things?

First, please visit User Stories and read the testimonies of people whose lives have been transformed. You’ll find story after story — miracle after miracle — of what God has done through the outreaches of Life Without Limbs this past year. These stories are amazing!=

These people are writing to us, but they’re really pouring out their hearts to God, who has touched them in the most intimate way.

When Jesus came into the world a choir of angels was praising God saying,

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

Those praises continue even now when people turn to Him. Jesus said the angels rejoice “… every time one lost soul turns to God.” Luke 15:10

When you read these stories you can almost hear the angels singing…

Praise God!… for Katrina who was raped at gunpoint two years ago and desperately asked God, “What did I do wrong to deserve that. And why did it happen?” Yet now after reading words of life in my book, she not only has been set free, she actually shares the love of Christ to others who may not know it.

Praise God!… for Laura who wrote, “I stumbled on a YouTube video of Nick by mistake while writing a suicide letter to my parents.” She tore up the suicide note and now wants to be strong and live!

Praise God!… for Jacques who watched us online and said, “Thanks to you, I finally have given my whole heart to Christ.”

But praise isn’t reserved just for other people. I know there are many things in your life that are cause for rejoicing.

That’s why I’m asking you do a second little “challenge” that I know will bless you. Please take a few moments and share your personal stories of hope on our website at www.lifewithoutlimbs.org/tell-us-your-story/. I’d like you to add your own praises for what God has done this past year… for you, your family, your situation.

We have the opportunity to multiply these praises. I can’t thank God enough for what He’s done. But I have to admit, I want more. I want God’s love to be poured out to so many more hurting people.

Right now we can touch millions more. We are in the process of creating our own radio program. It would not only be heard on broadcast radio, but it would go out over the internet to people all over the earth. I travel a lot, but I can’t be everywhere. Yet through these broadcasts and podcasts our impact can grow exponentially!

Won’t you join me in sharing the true gift of Christmas with more people? When you commit to support Life Without Limbs with an automatic donation of $20 or more each month, you’ll receive a copy of The Valley DVD.

If you can’t make a monthly pledge, then please help us with a one-time gift. For a one- time gift of $15 or more, you’ll
receive the 2012 Transforming Lives for the Lord calendar.

Please give your best gift and together let’s watch and sing with the angels over the marvelous things God will do.

Thank you so much for your generous support. Psalm 146:2 enthusiastically declares, “I will praise the Lord while I live.” I know that as you read these precious stories and share your own stories you will be blessed throughout the holiday.

In Him, Through Him, For Him,

Nick Vujicic
