After seeing and hearing Nick my faith went from being based off of what God could do for me to based off of what God has already done through me. Nick spoke at an event and gave an altar call. I hit the dirt on my knees and cried. Last year, I was homeless for almost a year and prayed for God to provide a place to live again. When God answered my prayer I based my faith off of whether or not He was going to continue to provide or even provide a better place for me to live.  I lived off the scripture "God can do all things" but cut off "according to His riches and His glory." I prayed He would provide but forgot His glory in my struggle. My story of homeless has touched the hearts of many. After hearing Nick speak and hugging him, he told me over and over, "I love you." Sometimes that's all that's needs to be said.

When I got back home, I went in my room and cried. I told God it was okay if I had to be homeless again and I would give my stuff away. As long as He loved me I knew He was enough. Now, my faith is not based on anything but built from His love and His word."  I just played the DVD for a group of offenders in the County Jail. They loved it! While walking them back to their housing unit one of them said, "I am not the same person who came. That video changed my life!"
