When Nick was about 9 years old, he was a passenger on a flight from Brisbane to Melbourne. I was the captain and heard about Nick from one of my crew. I walked down the back and asked him if he wanted to come up front and have a fly. Nick never says no to anything. I carried him up, sat him in my lap, disconnected the auto-pilot and suggested he have a fly. He did fly and he flew well … with his drumstick.
Nick, when the picture was taken, I was an atheist. My life got so bad. I was stuck in my porn addiction and I planned to kill myself. God stepped into my life and now my beautiful wife and I run a wonderful ministry. We are seeking the lost lambs of childhood sexual abuse and also helping men to claim their God-given roles.
You had an amazing impact on my life back then Nick, and you still do. I would love to meet you again. May God continue to bless us all, my friend.
