My name is Tim. I’m 31 and this is my story.

I was born on June 5th 1980 not sure what the time was.  I was born with fetal alchohol syndrome, ADHD, and I was 2 months premature (my lungs were not fully developed).   my immune system wasnt strong as well causing me to get pneumonia causing me to have to do on a trec and a feeding tube.  as i look back on that even though my birth mother did drink while pregnent, i dont blame her anymore ive forgiven her she was sick with a illness called addiction which i now have.  6 months ago i signed into a rehab for alchohol abuse and benzo abuse and ive been sober ever since and plan to be sober from now on i recently saw Nick’s story and around that time.   i was thinking i cant do this anymore its to hard then i saw life without limbs on youtube and thoght wow look at him look at what hes accomplished if he can get through life so can i.. ive gotten into group therapy one on one and am currently seeking employment i dont want to waste my life like my mother did as well as my sister who has major problems with addiction as well.  THANK YOU NICK FOR ALLOWING ME TO SEE.
