back on gods path with art

Hello my name is Robbie but all my friends and fans know me as “Big Country” due to my big country heart. When I was 24 I was diagnosed with a noncancerous growing brain tumor that has taken 95% of my vision and caused some brain damage. At first I was so down and depressed, and thought I had nothing to live for, but then I started doing art to help keep what vision I had left strong. I then started posting my art on Face book, was baptized, and found love and support in Jesus. I started to get a few fans on face book for my art and also started listening to my audio Bible more. I found a new positive outlook on life and started to share more and more of my art and poetry on Face book. I got a few messages from people I didnt even know, they wrote telling me that the story of my situation was so up lifting. When I started getting more and more messages like this, it uplifted me to do more for my new friends and fans. So, I started to talk with some people that were going through depression, and felt like this is what God wanted me to do to help others with my talent. As I sit and talk with my oldest brother who is a preacher he helped me realize what has happened to me is not a punishment its a blessing. It has stopped me from drinking, fighting and kept me away from the people whom I didn’t realize were on the wrong path. This is what God had to do to help me get back on the path He had made for me. So now I’m disabled, legally blind, and have memory loss but I see it as a blessing because I now know what true unconditional love is. I want to thank Nick for his great and inspirational messages, they have given me hope to keep trying and keep doing the Lords work to help others.
