Ministry Update

Without question, there are things that happened in 2016 that you will remember the rest of your lives. Some things filled you with hope or happiness, but you also may have experienced hurts and losses this year that bring pain. I look back and am completely in awe of how God has used my testimony to bring thousands more into a relationship with Him.

In January, I sent out a “Circle of Seven” card with space to write down the names of seven people who needed prayer. My challenge was that you would pray for these seven people every time God brought them to your mind. I trust, for many of you, that the Circle of Seven resulted in a new commitment to pray for those who desperately need God’s healing touch – physically, emotionally or spiritually.

If I could somehow contact every person whose name was written on a Circle of Seven card and ask how their lives had changed in 2016, I know some would tell me about healed relationships, new jobs, strength to overcome physical challenges, and so much more. Some would not recognize that the power of prayer had impacted their lives, while others would give the glory to God.

And some of those people you prayed for would tell me that they are now followers of Christ. They are recipients of God’s mercy and grace because of His great love and your faithfulness in prayer.

In Isaiah 6:8, the prophet wrote, “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’” We have all received that call from God to do something to bring others to Him.

We all don’t have the same talents and gifts – but we all have the same call. If we can’t go, we can help someone else go. And that’s what you do with every gift you send to Life Without Limbs.

God has gifted me in such a way that I can physically go. He has opened doors and given me the strength to pass through them. He has given me a personal story that people are drawn to. It is Him who works through me.

But without your prayers and support, I would be less effective. You see, God has made us partners in this ministry – and together, we are more powerful witnesses of His love and grace.

As 2016 draws to its close, please prayerfully ask God what more you should do for Life Without Limbs. Perhaps He is leading you to give a larger gift than usual, or to make a special gift over and above your regular monthly support. You may be able to send $50 or $100. Or you may not be in a position to give financially, but you can commit to being one of the people I can count on for unceasing prayers in 2017.

We have a holy calling, and we are blessed to be used by God to build His kingdom and help others find the peace and hope that no person can truly promise. Only God gives lasting hope and peace that surpasses our ability to understand.

Thank you for your prayers and your support. I wish you a Christmas filled with awe at our Savior’s birth, joy in that indescribable gift and confidence in the love that was manifested that first Christmas day.

In Him, Through Him, For Him,

Nick Vujicic

P.S. We are thrilled that a group of supporters has offered to match, $1 to $1, every donation this month up to $250,000. This will give us an amazing start into the new year of ministry! So please send in your gift before December 31 so we can take full advantage of this match. Thank you for being a vital part of the ministry of Life Without Limbs. Have a blessed Christmas!
