Ministry Updates

Ministry Update – July 2017

“Where does time go?!” Have you caught yourself asking that question? After all, we’re already halfway through the year.

But a halfway point is a perfect time to reflect and regroup. While watching soccer, I’ve observed that sometimes one team goes into the halftime break behind in scoring – but they come back on the field totally on fire. Why? Because during that pause, they decided to go a different direction.

For you and me, July is our “halftime.” We’re in the midst of summer, which often provides a bit more time to relax and reflect. In July, I pause and ask myself, “What have I done the first half of the year that is going to matter for eternity? Have I been moving in the right direction along the path Christ wants me to take?”

Proverbs 4:26 says, “Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.” That instruction is perfect for July! Are we keeping our eyes focused straight ahead on Jesus, or have we been distracted by life’s busyness and what the world has to offer?

Your generosity to Life Without Limbs is making it possible for us to gear up for a major evangelistic effort in our tent (where up to 8,000 people can come at a time to hear the Gospel). I know now is not the time for us to lose focus!  We must keep looking at our Savior and asking Him, “Are we doing what you want, Father, or just what we want?”

Because you are a faithful supporter of Life Without Limbs, I believe you share my passion for doing God’s work. He’s told us that He does not want anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9), and He’s given us the task of telling others how they can escape eternal separation from Him and find forgiveness, love and hope in Christ today.

So I invite you to send a gift today for our ministry – and with your support, we will preach the Word of God – and with God’s blessing, many will join us in His family. Your gift of $40 or $60 – or more if God leads you and has enabled you – will be put to work right away to spread the Gospel and invite others to accept God’s amazing gift of forgiveness.

I also ask you to prayerfully consider becoming a Hope Partner by committing to give a monthly donation. This would be an added blessing to us because, when we can count on consistent support month to month, our team can more effectively plan. Monthly giving also helps eliminate many of the financial peaks and valleys that ministries like ours experience and helps reduce administrative costs so a larger portion of your donation goes directly to the ministry. But even more importantly, Hope Partners faithfully share in the blessings of this ministry all year long.

Even if you can’t become a Hope Partner at this time, I hope you will prayerfully consider making a gift today. We have exciting opportunities ahead, and I am committed to staying the course – for God!

And as you reflect during this summer “halftime,” remember that taking time to read God’s Word and seeking direction from Him is the best way to remain “steadfast in all your ways,” just as the writer of Proverbs 4:26 encourages us to do.

Your partnership is a great blessing God has given me. Thank you for being someone we can count on as we continue to follow Jesus, preach His Gospel, and spend our days building an eternal legacy made up of people brought to salvation in Jesus.

In Him, Through Him, For Him,

Nick Vujicic

P.S. Thank you for standing with Life Without Limbs by being a faithful supporter. I hope you will prayerfully consider my invitation to take the next step by becoming a Hope Partner. But whether you can do that today or not, please know that I am so grateful for your giving, and I thank you in advance for all you do as we minister together.

Tell us how these encouraging words have given you hope and inspiration!
