Ministry Updates

Ministry Update – November 2017

Will you join me in a special surprise? Nick is turning 35 on December 4 and we want to overwhelm him with love and birthday greetings on his special day.

I’ve enclosed a special postcard that you can use to send your own greeting to Nick on this happy occasion. We’ll present them all to Nick when we celebrate his birthday with him.

We want Nick’s birthday to be a time when he feels overwhelmingly loved by his team of supporters. That’s why we are also launching a $500,000 year-end campaign to give Life Without Limbs – and Nick – an encouraging start to the new year.

A few of our ministry friends have combined to offer a match of up to $255,000 in donations — so when you send in your gift today, it will be doubled!

Nick’s passion is “Change just one life” – and we praise God that through him, tens of thousands of lives have been, and are being, changed. In late September, Nick travelled to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, and spoke at an event celebrating the country’s 100th anniversary and the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Close to 250,000 people raised their hands to accept Christ, keeping them raised for as long as ten minutes – the length of the altar call – to confirm their acceptance of the Gospel message.

Our Unstoppable Faith event, held in October in our tent, brought thousands to hear Nick preach for 14 nights in a row, and hundreds returned over the next two weeks for a discipleship class led by members of local churches.

At Elevate Life Church, Nick’s message led more than 400 people to turn their lives over to God, and the simulcast of Nick’s messages brought the Good News to countless others who desperately needed to hear that God is the only Hope they need.

It seems that Nick never slows down. God has given him amazing energy to preach, and a clear message of the Good News of Jesus Christ. And as a result, people are surrendering their lives to Christ and receiving forgiveness of sin and eternal hope.

So now we want to honor Nick on his 35th birthday. We want to show him just how much he is loved – by people who have found peace and eternal life through the words God gave him to preach, and by those who share his passion for sharing the Gospel.

Right now, we have an incredible opportunity to do even more – to fill stadiums with people desperate to hear Nick share Jesus, to make and distribute more videos that take Nick’s message of hope to places he can’t go, to tell the world about our Savior.

As one teen recently said, “When people see that Nick can do it, they know they can do it, too!”

We need your help. Nick is passionate about reaching people who want to be set free from sin. But it is your prayers and your gifts that bring that passion to life. As part of the Life Without Limbs team, you make it possible for us to say “yes” to requests for Nick to speak, to host thousands in our tent for Unstoppable Faith events, to simulcast the Good News to cities and towns that are hungry for someone to come and tell them about God.

Please send your gift today – which will be matched — and as you give, please take another minute to write a birthday greeting to Nick and mail that back. Together let’s encourage Nick for the next 35 years as he boldly proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for being part of the Life Without Limbs team as you give so generously and as you pray so faithfully. I am honored to serve alongside you and Nick. We’re part of a team that is telling the Good News of Jesus Christ – and we’re changing lives!

Grateful for your partnership,

Amy Grandpre

Vice President of Operations

P.S. We’re praising God for the 208 people who have signed up as Hope Partners since we launched the campaign in August. Nick is praying in confidence that we can reach the God-sized goal of 500 by December 31, so please pray about becoming a monthly giving partner. Your first Hope Partner gift or any gift sent with this letter will be doubled. Thank you in advance for giving as God leads you.

Tell us how these encouraging words have given you hope and inspiration!
