The Problem

Stand Strong. Think of all the people who need to hear this messageThe student who gets taunted and pushed around because he’s different. The teenager who writes a note about why she wants to end her life. The wounded veteran who struggles to pay rent as he searches for work. The single mom who feels like she has nothing left to give.

Stand Strong is a strategic effort to reach entire communities with the hope and love of Jesus Christ. Already we have seen entire city regions such as Salt Lake City, Oahu, Maui, and Boise and several entire states – Indiana, Florida and Ohio – become statewide initiatives reaching upwards of 500,000 students per state.

Our goal is to reach multiple city regions and entire states across America, spending three full days in each area visiting schools, engaging in community service, and sharing the Gospel. The statistics are heartbreaking and sobering:

  • 19.6% of students have been bullied on school property nationwide
  • 17% of students have seriously considered attempting suicide
  • 14% of students have been electronically bullied, including being bullied through e-mail, chat rooms, instant messaging, website or texting
  • 8.0% of students have attempted suicide one or more times

Are you passionate about your city? Do you want to help kids who are being bullied? Do you long to see the love and hope of Jesus Christ transform your community, leaving it forever changed?

We want to put an end to awful situations like this:

Alejandra is 10 years old. Her classmates hit her in the nose and she bled a lot. She was caught by the hair and dragged to the football field. They beat her up with a ball. They called her ugly and fat. She stepped into a deep depression. She attempted to harm herself. She was a very sweet girl.

This is our purpose and our prayer for Stand Strong. Check out our schedule to see if we’re coming to your area, and then let us know how you’d like to get involved. If your city isn’t on the schedule yet, maybe YOU are the person to gather leaders in your community and make a Stand Strong campaign happen!

We invite you to Stand Strong with us as we watch God move in our students, our neighbors, and our communities for Jesus Christ!
