Here we are! Last day of this section of our World Outreach Tour. We’re finishing up our time in Singapore today, and then headed back home this evening. Our time in Asia has been incredible, and I’m so blessed by the opportunity to see so many lives changed, yet at the same time I’m so excited to see my boy and my wife again.
Singapore greeted us with a huge welcome right off the bat, with a television shout out and a live radio interview on 938LIVE as soon as we got off the plane.
The press conference in Singapore was one of the most memorable of my entire career, hosted at S.E.A. Aquarium. It was entirely surreal to be answering questions and telling my story while manta rays swam overhead.
Even after the press conference, I hadn’t yet had my fill of sea creatures, so I went for a quick swim to get a little more personal with the sharks.
The media blitz we’ve been able to sustain here in Singapore has been amazing. Thanks to many of our connections at 938LIVE and MediaCorp, I’ve been able to share my story with an incredible amount of people through interviews and messages on radio, television, and web.
I was also able to meet the President of Singapore, and along with two Singaporeans who recently lost their limbs, shared my story and experience with him. It’s so crucial to get world leaders involved in inspiring their people to help one another, so meetings like this are key to our outreach. God has been so faithful to us, with this marking the ninth president I’ve been able to meet.
After my time here, I’ve not only inspired many of the people of Singapore, but I’ve been inspired by them. I can’t think of a better way to end the Southeast Asia part of our travels.
Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for us as we travel home, and be sure to check back for more stories from our travels throughout Asia.
