It’s fitting with “Remembrance Day” around the corner to title the topic of this short story “Remember”. I had a hard time coming to grips with the fact that, after I read your book “Faith in action” (Unstoppable) I did not remember to write to you with words of thanks and encouragement for your mission and the faith you have shown in your book. It’s typical in my life to always put myself first. I was going through a rough time when I read the book so my attitude was to put everyone else’s concerns on the back burner. What I’m realizing is that it’s not about me at all, there’s a bigger picture in all of this. God chooses to use different people for different circumstances. It would be prudent to say I came to this realization on my own through revelation but the truth is I came to this realization only through pain and the discipleship of God. He holds us all accountable at times and at other times His grace covers our weakness. I have learned this, when we seem to be going through tough times we need to give praise, when we are at peace we need to give praise, through everything we need to posture ourselves as overcomers. I have spent too much time sulking I can’t get that time back but I can learn from those times that it can always be worse. But if we change our attitude and get out of our way, we will realize, we are already at home and enter into the peace of God that has been given to us and find rest. Thank you for your bravery!
